Life in Grenada

Hi All,   we are sitting here in southern Grenada with many other cruisers, awaiting the end of hurricane season.  What are we doing?   Being lazy, drinking margharitas?   Well, not only that, but much more.  Going on hikes, riding our bikes, lots of snorkeling - it is now lobster season (sept 1st) but haven't found any yet.  Yesterday was our 6 month anniversary of leaving Florida and setting sail.  We have had a lot of fun, and done a lot of work.  On the boat, we had our hydraulic steering RAM re-built.  We just had to replace all our main house batteries - a BIG expense out here in the islands.  Still finding and patching small tears in our worn-out mainsail - soon it will look like we are sailing with a patchwork quilt, so I guess we can claim that we are into arts and crafts too?  Still writing and publishing, though we are behind in getting out our Windward Islands cruising blog and photos into book form as we have both been working on fiction.   Just search amazon.com for "soulmatie" and you will see everything we have out.

Going for a test sail tomorrow, to northern Grenada, Ronde Island and then maybe Carriacou and Petite Martinique and then back to southern Grenada, so will not have internet for a little while probably.
