As we cruise the globe, we will randomly drop messages in a bottle overboard (usually in the open water while in-transit
to our next country). We are curious when/if these bottles will be found
and if found, how far had the bottle traveled?

Bottle #8
Dear all, hello.
Our names are Elena and Alex.
We are from Russia.
Today (21.04.2013 - 6.30 a.m.) we found a bottle of number
8.
We sent you a postcard to your address.
Sorry. Now we can not send you your letter. We will send a
your letter from
Moscow.
Today is our last day of vacation in the Dominican Republic.
We do not have time
to buy envelopes and mark.
We like adventure very much. If you email us the answer, we
will be very happy.
Sorry for mistakes. We have just started to learn English.
Bye! Bye! Bye!
With the Best Regards,
Alex and Elena

From Kenisbel
To my house a friend came and it counted me that that bottle
where the message was I saturate in the sacred beach it shone of nuevitas in
the county of camaguey vat the he didn't understand it and a days he saw me and
express writes to the addresses that there put I am glad to know that they are
well thanks to god. my name is Marisbel Olazabal and I live in nuevitas thank
you to warn that they are safe, and you of where they are we try to look for
the coordinates in the googleeart but the one that we have is very old and
he/she doesn't meet with accuracy that god protects them
What a good idea! We're leaving in a couple years and are now thinking of doing this as well.
ReplyDeleteWe're curious though, why did you choose to intentionally throw four PLASTIC bottles in the ocean? As sailors who, among countless others, try avoid dumping plastic at all costs, we don't get it. Hopefully it will make its way into someone's arms and not to the Pacific or Atlantic gyres.
Regardless, best wishes and good luck on your adventures! You are living the dream!
